Forms Bridge WordPress Plugin Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Forms Bridge – Infinite Integrations plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 4.2.5. The issue arises in the 'financoop_campaign' shortcode, where the 'id' attribute is not properly sanitized or escaped. This flaw allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts that execute when users view the affected page.

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.

Remediation

Users can update to version 4.3.0 or a newer patched version to address this vulnerability.
