Vulnerability

A logic error in the Android Framework and System components allows for a potential bypass of user interaction when pairing a Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) device. This vulnerability could lead to remote (proximal/adjacent) escalation of privilege, with no additional execution privileges required. Exploitation does not involve user interaction.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could result in unauthorized access to elevated privileges, allowing a user to perform actions or access resources that are normally restricted.

Remediation

Users can update their devices to the June 2026 security patch level to address this vulnerability. Instructions for checking and updating the Android version are available on the Google Support website.
