OpenSolution QuickCMS Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in Page and Slider Editors

Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in OpenSolution QuickCMS version 6.8. This issue arises in the page and slider editor functionalities, allowing an admin user to inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript. The injected scripts are executed when the edited pages or sliders are viewed. By default, admin users cannot add JavaScript to the website.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the affected page or slider.
