Brocade Fabric OS Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

A privilege escalation vulnerability has been identified in Brocade Fabric OS versions prior to 9.2.1c3 and in versions 9.2.2 through 9.2.2b. This vulnerability allows a local authenticated user to elevate privileges to 'root' by using the export option of the seccertmgmt and seccryptocfg commands.

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows local authenticated users to gain root privileges, potentially leading to unauthorized access or control over the system.

Remediation

Users can upgrade to Brocade Fabric OS 10.0.0, 9.2.2c, or 9.2.1c3 to address this vulnerability.
