itsourcecode Apartment Management System SQL Injection Vulnerability in Report Fair Info All PHP
Vulnerability
A SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in the itsourcecode Apartment Management System version 1.0. The issue arises in the file '/report/fair_info_all.php', where insufficient input validation of the 'fid' parameter allows attackers to inject malicious SQL queries. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, without any authentication, potentially leading to unauthorized database access, data manipulation, and exposure of sensitive information.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for SQL injection, with potential impacts including unauthorized database access, data modification or deletion, access to sensitive information, and disruption of service.
Reproduction
The vulnerability can be reproduced by sending a request to the '/report/fair_info_all.php' file with a manipulated 'fid' parameter. This can be done using a tool like sqlmap, which can automate the exploitation of SQL injection vulnerabilities. The injection point has been identified as vulnerable to boolean-based blind, time-based blind, and UNION query injections.
Remediation
It is recommended to use prepared statements and parameter binding to prevent SQL injection, validate and filter user input, minimize database user permissions, and conduct regular security audits.
