A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Unlimited Elements For Elementor plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.5.148. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. The injected scripts are executed when users access the compromised pages.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.
To reproduce this vulnerability, an authenticated user with Contributor-level access or higher can inject scripts through several vulnerable widgets in the Unlimited Elements For Elementor plugin, all versions prior to 1.5.148. The injected scripts will be executed when the page is viewed by another user.
Users are advised to update the Unlimited Elements For Elementor plugin to version 1.5.149 or later.
