A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the All-in-One WP Migration and Backup plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 7.97. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the Import feature. It allows authenticated attackers with administrator-level access to inject arbitrary scripts into pages, which are executed when users access the affected pages. The issue is present in multi-site installations where unfiltered_html has been disabled.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.
Users are advised to update the All-in-One WP Migration and Backup plugin to version 7.98 or a newer patched version.
