PAD CMS Cross-Site Request Forgery Vulnerability in Password Reset Functionality

A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the password reset feature of PAD CMS. This issue allows a malicious attacker to create a website that, when visited by a user, automatically sends a POST request to change the user's password to a value specified by the attacker. The vulnerability affects all templates: www, bip, and www+bip. This software is no longer supported, and no patches will be released.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for unauthorized password changes, potentially leading to account takeover.
