GitLab CE/EE GraphQL Denial-of-Service Vulnerability

A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in GitLab Community Edition (CE) and Enterprise Edition (EE) versions 10.8 prior to 18.6.6, 18.7 prior to 18.7.4, and 18.8 prior to 18.8.4. Under certain conditions, this vulnerability could have allowed an unauthenticated user to disrupt service by sending repeated GraphQL queries, causing resource exhaustion.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to a denial-of-service condition, causing the application to become unresponsive or slow down significantly.

Remediation
