- 1.0.0.9
A critical stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability has been identified in the Tenda FH451 router, specifically in version 1.0.0.9. The issue arises in the 'fromqossetting' function within the '/goform/qossetting' file, where manipulation of the 'page' parameter allows for remote exploitation.
Exploitation of this vulnerability leads to a stack-based buffer overflow, which can commonly result in arbitrary code execution or causing the device to crash.
To reproduce this vulnerability, send a request to the '/goform/qossetting' endpoint with a crafted 'page' parameter that exceeds the buffer limit. This will trigger the stack-based buffer overflow condition.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
