A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Photos, Files, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Ecommerce Contest Gallery plugin for WordPress, in all versions through 26.1.0. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the comment feature, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts. These scripts are executed when users access the affected pages.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the page.

Remediation

Users are advised to update the plugin to version 26.1.1 or a newer patched version.
