A critical SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in PHPGurukul User Registration & Login and User Management System version 3.3. The issue resides in the file '/admin/user-profile.php', where the 'uid' parameter can be manipulated to execute SQL injection attacks. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, potentially leading to a complete compromise of the application's database.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for SQL injection, where an attacker can interfere with the application's database queries. This could lead to unauthorized data access, data manipulation, or in some cases, executing administrative operations on the database.
To reproduce this vulnerability, send a request to the '/admin/user-profile.php' file with a crafted 'uid' parameter that exploits the SQL injection flaw. This can be done using various injection techniques such as Boolean-based, Time-based blind, or UNION-based injections.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
