A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability has been identified in libsoup's cookie parsing functionality. This flaw occurs when the soup_cookie_jar_add_cookie() function processes a cookie lacking a domain parameter, leading to a crash and causing a denial-of-service condition.
Exploitation of this vulnerability causes a crash of the process, disrupting normal operation. In rare cases, it could allow reading or writing memory, potentially leading to unauthorized code execution.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
