GitLab CE/EE Action Forgery Vulnerability via Content Injection

Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in GitLab Community Edition (CE) and Enterprise Edition (EE) in all versions from 17.11 prior to 17.11.6, 18.0 prior to 18.0.4, and 18.1 prior to 18.1.2. Under certain conditions, this vulnerability could allow an attacker to execute actions on behalf of users by injecting malicious content.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized actions being performed on behalf of users, potentially allowing attackers to manipulate user accounts or perform actions that could disrupt normal operations.
