Centreon Web SQL Injection Vulnerability in Event Logs Module

Vulnerability

A second-order SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in the Centreon Web event logs module. This issue allows low-privileged users to manipulate HTTP requests and inject payloads into the database. The vulnerability affects Centreon Web versions 24.10.0 prior to 24.10.9, 24.04.0 prior to 24.04.16, and 23.10.0 prior to 23.10.26.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for SQL injection, where an attacker can interfere with the application's database queries. This could lead to unauthorized data access, data manipulation, or in some cases, executing administrative operations on the database.

Remediation

Users are advised to update Centreon Web to version 24.10.9, 24.04.16, or 23.10.26, all of which include cumulative fixes from prior updates.
