When a victim views the page containing the affected field, the injected JavaScript could be executed in their browser.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the affected page.
Users are advised to update to Adobe Experience Manager 6.5 LTS SP1 (GRANITE-61551 Hotfix), version 6.5.24, or for AEM Cloud Service, the latest release. Instructions for updating can be found in the release notes for each version.
