A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) versions 6.5.23 and earlier. This vulnerability allows low-privileged attackers to inject malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. When a victim views the page containing the affected field, the injected JavaScript could be executed in their browser.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the affected page.
Users are advised to update to Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.24 or 6.5 LTS SP1 (Granite-61551 Hotfix). For AEM Cloud Service users, updates will be applied automatically. Instructions for downloading the update can be found in the release notes for AEM 6.5.24 and AEM 6.5 LTS SP1.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
