Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP CSRF Vulnerability in Headless API

Vulnerability

A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability has been identified in the Headless API of Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute any Headless API by manipulating the 'endpoint' parameter. It affects multiple versions of Liferay Portal and Liferay DXP, including older unsupported versions.

Remediation

Users can upgrade to Liferay Portal 7.4.3.108 or Liferay DXP versions 2024.Q1.1, 2023.Q4.1, 2023.Q3.5, or 7.3 U36 to address this vulnerability.
