Adobe Dimension Out-of-Bounds Read Vulnerability Leading to Arbitrary Code Execution

Vulnerability

An out-of-bounds read vulnerability has been identified in Adobe Dimension versions 4.1.4 and earlier. This vulnerability occurs when the application parses a crafted file, potentially allowing a read past the end of an allocated memory structure. An attacker could exploit this issue to execute code in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, as the victim must open a malicious file.

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the user.

Remediation

Users are advised to update Adobe Dimension to version 4.1.5. For managed environments, IT administrators can use the Admin Console to deploy Creative Cloud applications to end users.
