A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists in the WordPress WorkScout-Core plugin versions prior to 1.7.06. This vulnerability allows attackers to trick users with higher privileges into performing actions they did not intend to.

Exploitation could enable attackers to manipulate actions of users with higher privileges, potentially leading to unauthorized changes or actions within the application.

Remediation

Users of the WordPress WorkScout-Core plugin should update to version 1.7.06 or later. Patchstack users can enable auto-update for vulnerable plugins.
