Windu CMS Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability in Logon Page

Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in Windu CMS version 4.1. The issue arises on the logon page, where input data is not properly validated, allowing attackers to inject arbitrary HTML and JavaScript. This injected content is executed when an administrator visits the logs page. While only version 4.1 has been tested and confirmed vulnerable, other versions may also be affected.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for stored cross-site scripting, where injected scripts are executed in the context of the user viewing the logs.
