Samsung MotionPhoto Improper Access Control Vulnerability in MPRemoteService
Vulnerability
A vulnerability exists in the MPRemoteService of the MotionPhoto application, prior to version 4.1.51, due to improper access control. This flaw allows local attackers to initiate privileged services. The issue has been addressed in version 4.1.51.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access to privileged services, potentially allowing local attackers to manipulate or control certain functions or features of the MotionPhoto application.
Remediation
Users can update to MotionPhoto version 4.1.51 to address this vulnerability.
