Gavias Indutri WordPress Theme Local File Inclusion Vulnerability

A local file inclusion vulnerability has been identified in the Gavias Indutri WordPress theme, affecting versions prior to 1.3.0. This vulnerability arises from improper control of filenames in include or require statements, allowing PHP remote file inclusion that could be exploited for local file inclusion instead.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a malicious actor to include local files from the target website and display their contents. This could potentially lead to a complete takeover of the database, depending on the configuration, especially if files containing sensitive information like database credentials are accessed.
Remediation
Users are advised to update to version 1.3.0 or later. Patchstack has also issued a virtual patch to block attacks targeting this vulnerability until users can update.
