Vulnerability

A vulnerability allowing OS command injection has been identified in Fortinet FortiWeb versions 8.0.0 through 8.0.1, 7.6.0 through 7.6.5, 7.4.0 through 7.4.10, 7.2.0 through 7.2.11, and 7.0.0 through 7.0.11. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers to execute unauthorized code on the underlying system by sending crafted HTTP requests or CLI commands.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized code execution on the affected system.

Remediation

Users are advised to upgrade to Fortinet FortiWeb version 8.0.2 or above, 7.6.6 or above, 7.4.11 or above, 7.2.12 or above, or 7.0.12 or above, depending on their current version.
