DENSO TEN Drive Recorder Viewer Insecure DLL Loading Vulnerability Allowing Arbitrary Code Execution

Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in the installers of DENSO TEN Drive Recorder Viewer for Windows, due to an insecure DLL search path. This flaw can lead to the arbitrary execution of code with the privileges of the user running the installer. The issue arises from uncontrolled search path elements, allowing malicious Dynamic Link Libraries to be loaded and executed.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could result in arbitrary code execution with the user's privileges.

Remediation

Users are advised to download and install the latest version of the DENSO TEN Drive Recorder Viewer from the official download site. For those already using the application, reinstallation is not necessary as the updated version has been available since August 1, 2025.
