Valuation Calculator WordPress Plugin Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Valuation Calculator plugin for WordPress, affecting all versions through 1.3.2. The issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts. These scripts are executed when users access the compromised pages.

Reproduction

To reproduce this vulnerability, an authenticated user with Contributor-level access or higher can inject scripts via the 'link' parameter. The injected scripts will be executed when the page is accessed by any user.

Remediation

No patch is currently available. Users are advised to uninstall the affected plugin and consider a replacement.
