A critical SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in Code-Projects Patient Record Management System version 1.0. The issue arises in the file '/sputum_form.php', where the 'itr_no' parameter is manipulated, allowing for unauthorized SQL command execution. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, potentially leading to unauthorized access to sensitive database information.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for unrestricted SQL injection, enabling attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands. This could result in unauthorized data access, data manipulation, or in some cases, executing commands on the server under the database user's privileges.
To reproduce this vulnerability, send a request to the '/sputum_form.php' file with a crafted 'itr_no' parameter that includes SQL injection payloads. The lack of input validation allows the injected SQL to be executed, manipulating the database query and potentially exposing or altering database information.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
