A critical SQL injection vulnerability has been identified in PHPGurukul Online Fire Reporting System version 1.2. The issue arises in the file '/request-details.php', where the 'requestid' parameter is manipulated, leading to unauthorized SQL query execution. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely, and a public exploit is available.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for SQL injection, where an attacker can interfere with the application's database queries. This could lead to unauthorized data access, data manipulation, or in some cases, executing administrative operations on the database.
To reproduce this vulnerability, send a request to the '/admin/request-details.php' endpoint with a crafted 'requestid' parameter. The injection can be verified by using a payload that exploits boolean-based blind SQL injection, or by using SQL injection tools like sqlmap.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
