Fortinet FortiMail SQL Injection Vulnerability in Administrative Portal

Vulnerability

A SQL injection vulnerability (CWE-89) has been identified in Fortinet FortiMail versions 7.6.0 to 7.6.3, 7.4.0 to 7.4.5, and 7.2.0 to 7.2.8. This vulnerability allows an authenticated privileged attacker to execute unauthorized code or commands by sending specially crafted HTTP or HTTPS requests.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized code execution or command execution on the affected system.

Remediation

Users can upgrade to Fortinet FortiMail 7.6.4 or above, 7.4.6 or above, or 7.2.9 or above, depending on their current version.
