Scholl Communications AG Weblication CMS Core Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in Scholl Communications AG Weblication CMS Core version 019.004.000.000. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to inject JavaScript into the admin panel through specially crafted URLs, with the injected code being persistently stored on the page.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for cross-site scripting, where an attacker can inject malicious scripts that are executed in the context of the user's browser.

Remediation

Users are advised to update Weblication CMS Core to the latest version. Input should always be sanitized.
