Awplife Neom Blog Reflected Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the Awplife Neom Blog WordPress theme, affecting versions through 0.0.9. This vulnerability arises from improper input sanitization during web page generation, allowing attackers to inject malicious scripts that could be executed by users visiting the affected site.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for reflected cross-site scripting, where an attacker can inject malicious scripts that are executed in the context of the user's browser.

Remediation

Users are advised to update to version 0.1.0 or later. Patchstack has also issued a virtual patch to mitigate this vulnerability.
