Yokogawa Vnet/IP Interface Package Denial-of-Service Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in the Vnet/IP Interface Package by Yokogawa Electric Corporation. This issue affects versions through R1.07.00 and can be exploited by sending maliciously crafted packets, which may cause the Vnet/IP software stack process to terminate unexpectedly. As a result, Vnet/IP communication functions could be disrupted, potentially leading to a denial-of-service condition or allowing arbitrary programs to be executed.
