ELECOM Wireless LAN Routers Hidden Functionality Vulnerability
Vulnerability
A vulnerability allowing remote attackers who can log into the WebGUI to enable a hidden debug function has been identified in certain ELECOM wireless LAN routers. This issue affects the WRC-BE36QS-B model, all versions through 1.1.3, and the WRC-W701-B model, all versions through 1.1.3.
Impact
Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to the unauthorized activation of a hidden debug function on the affected router.
Remediation
Users are advised to update the router's firmware to version 2.1.3 or later. Instructions for checking the current firmware version are available on the ELECOM support website.
