A vulnerability exists in macOS Tahoe that allows an application to escape its sandbox restrictions. This issue has been addressed with additional permissions checks. The vulnerability affects multiple Mac models with Apple silicon, as well as some Intel-based MacBook Pro models.
Exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an application to break out of its sandbox, potentially leading to unauthorized access to system resources or user data.
Users can update to macOS Tahoe 26 to address this vulnerability.
