Apple Downgrade Vulnerability in macOS Sequoia, Sonoma, and Ventura Allowing Access to Protected User Data

Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in the AppleMobileFileIntegrity component of macOS Sequoia 15.6, macOS Sonoma 14.7.7, and macOS Ventura 13.7.7. This vulnerability allows an application to access protected user data by exploiting a downgrade issue. The problem has been addressed in the mentioned macOS versions by implementing additional code-signing restrictions.
