A Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in the SAP NetWeaver ABAP Platform. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to create a malicious link and make it publicly accessible. If an authenticated user clicks on this link, the injected content is processed during the page generation, leading to the creation of harmful content. Once executed, this content enables the attacker to access or modify information within the victim's browser context, thereby compromising confidentiality and integrity, while availability remains unaffected.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for Cross-Site Scripting, where an attacker can inject malicious scripts that are executed in the context of the user's browser, potentially leading to unauthorized access or modification of information.
Users are advised to review and implement the SAP Security Note associated with this vulnerability. This can be done through the SAP for Me platform, specifically during the monthly SAP Security Patch Day.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
