ZIV IDF and ZLF Products Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in ZIV's IDF version 0.10.0-0C03-03 and ZLF version 0.10.0-0C03-04. This vulnerability allows an authenticated attacker to inject malicious JavaScript into the software, which is then executed in the context of the victim's browser. The exploitation of this vulnerability requires the attacker to log into the device and perform specific actions that can be carried out with view permissions.

Remediation

ZIV has addressed this vulnerability in the IDF and ZLF products by releasing a firmware update to version 1.1.0.
