Eventobot Reflected Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability exists in Eventobot, a platform for event management and ticket sales. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute JavaScript in the victim's browser by sending a malicious URL that includes the 'name' parameter in the '/search-results' endpoint. Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to the theft of sensitive user data, such as session cookies, or allow attackers to perform actions on behalf of the user.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for reflected Cross-Site Scripting, where an attacker can execute JavaScript in the context of the user's browser.

Remediation

The vulnerability has been fixed in the latest version of Eventobot.
