A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AMD display driver can cause a system hang by allowing the tile logic to enter an undefined state. This issue arises in certain DSC instances where the HUBP domain required for sequential ONO ASICs is not properly met. The vulnerability has been addressed by adding more checks to ensure that the HUBP domain corresponding to the DSC instance is adequately powered.
Exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to a system hang, causing a denial of service.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
