This oversight could lead to data corruption or system freezes if subsequent tasks were executed before the hardware was ready. The vulnerability has been mitigated by adding a synchronization step, 'fimc_is_hw_wait_intmsr0_intmsd0()', after the mode change, ensuring that the hardware state is properly aligned and interrupts are managed stably.
