A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's iwlwifi component has been addressed. The issue involved the iwl_trans_reclaim function, which incorrectly issued a warning when called while the firmware was not operational. However, if the function is invoked after a firmware error, indicating a pending restart, there is no need for a warning; the function should simply return without notification.
The vulnerability could lead to unnecessary warning messages being generated, which may cause confusion or obscure more relevant information in system logs.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
