LightPress Lightbox WordPress Plugin Stored Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in the LightPress Lightbox WordPress plugin, affecting versions prior to 2.3.4. The issue arises because the plugin does not validate that download links lead to valid, non-Javascript URLs. This flaw allows users with at least contributor-level access to inject malicious scripts that are stored and executed later.
