Vulnerability

A stored cross-site scripting vulnerability has been identified in multiple releases of IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation and IBM Business Automation Workflow. This vulnerability allows authenticated users to inject arbitrary JavaScript into the Web UI, potentially altering functionality and leading to credential disclosure within a trusted session.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could result in stored cross-site scripting, allowing for the injection of malicious scripts that could be executed in the context of the user's session.

Remediation

Users can upgrade to IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation versions 25.0.0-IF002, 24.0.1-IF005, or 24.0.0-IF007. For earlier unsupported releases, upgrading to 24.0.0-IF007, 24.0.1-IF005, or 25.0.0-IF002 is recommended.
