Intel SoC Thermal IPF Extension Provider Privilege Escalation Vulnerability

A privilege escalation vulnerability has been identified in Intel's SoC Thermal IPF Extension Provider software, prior to version 03.03.1002. This vulnerability arises from an unquoted search path in some PRI Driver software, which may allow an unprivileged, authenticated user to escalate privileges. The issue could potentially be exploited through local access, requiring active user interaction and without special internal knowledge.

Remediation
