A vulnerability exists in various Samsung mobile processors, wearable processors, and modems, specifically the Exynos 980, 990, 850, 1080, 2100, 1280, 2200, 1330, 1380, 1480, 2400, 1580, 9110, W920, W930, W1000, Modem 5123, Modem 5300, and Modem 5400. The issue arises from a programming error in the buffer copy process, leading to out-of-bounds write vulnerabilities when handling malformed ROHC packets.
Exploitation of this vulnerability causes out-of-bounds writes, which can lead to memory corruption and potentially allow for arbitrary code execution.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
