Apple iOS and iPadOS Call Recording Access Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A logic vulnerability in iOS and iPadOS allows an attacker with physical access to a device to retrieve a deleted call recording. This issue affects iPhone XS and later models, as well as several iPad models, and has been addressed in the latest iOS and iPadOS updates.

Impact

Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access to deleted call recordings.

Remediation

Users can update to iOS 18.5 or iPadOS 18.5 to address this vulnerability.
