Apple iOS and iPadOS Call History Privacy Vulnerability

Vulnerability

A privacy vulnerability in iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5 allows call history from deleted apps to still appear in Spotlight search results. This issue was addressed by removing sensitive data, but remnants of the call history may persist in search results.

Impact

The vulnerability could lead to unintended disclosure of call history from deleted applications, allowing this information to be accessed through Spotlight search results.
