A denial-of-service vulnerability has been identified in Oracle MySQL Server versions 8.0.0 through 8.0.41, 8.4.0 through 8.4.4, and 9.0.0 through 9.2.0. This vulnerability allows a high-privileged attacker with network access to MySQL Server, via multiple protocols, to cause a hang or a frequently repeatable crash, leading to a complete denial-of-service condition on the server.
