AMD Secure Processor Boot Loader Legacy Recovery Mode Out-of-Bounds Write Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in the AMD Secure Processor Boot Loader, specifically in legacy recovery mode, due to inadequate input parameter sanitization. This flaw could enable an attacker to write out-of-bounds, corrupting Secure DRAM and potentially causing a denial-of-service condition.

Remediation

Users can update to the AMD Platform Initialization (PI) version 1.0.1.2c. This update will be available through the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
