A cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability has been identified in Code-Projects Online Class and Exam Scheduling System version 1.0. The issue resides in the 'program.php' page, where the 'id', 'code', and 'name' parameters can be manipulated to inject malicious scripts.
Exploitation of this vulnerability allows for cross-site scripting, where an attacker can inject malicious scripts that are executed in the context of the user's browser. This could be used to steal administrator login credentials or create phishing websites.
To reproduce this vulnerability, log into the application and navigate to the 'program.php' page. Then, append a script tag to the 'id', 'code', or 'name' parameters in the URL. The injected script will be executed, demonstrating the cross-site scripting vulnerability.
Our algorithm analyzes dozens of metrics to generate these 8 key vulnerability categories, which are then combined to calculate the overall risk score.
